Policy Recommendations for the Roma Youth in Europe

The Policy Recommendations for Roma Youth in Europe are developed within the frame of the RomaREACH project. They represent a targeted blueprint for structural transformation, shifting the paradigm from viewing Roma youth as passive beneficiaries to recognizing them as legitimate policy actors and knowledge producers. This document centers lived experience as expertise, channeling the political agency of young Roma activists into a roadmap for systemic change.

Roma Youth Policy Recommendations from Bulgaria

This policy paper has been developed within the framework of the RomaREACH project insights from workshops, held in Bulgaria in April 2025 and November 2025, and from 2024 Survey of Roma youth in Bulgaria, as well as interviews during focus groups, held in October 2024. 

Roma Week 2026 - participation from Bulgaria

The two young Bulgarian participants (Ivan and Teodor) who will represent NGO Organization Drom, will be joined for their trip to Brussels between April 20-24 by Ms. Tanya Kaltzeva - long-term collaborator. Our group of participants will come together with the Hungarian and Spanish teams for the 2026 Roma Week. In fact, the group of participants, who represent the Roma Reach project, will participate in events in Brussels, which include the following topics:
