Final phase of the RomaREACH project

The RomaReach project is entering its final phase of development. By the end of June, the project teams in Bulgaria, Hungary and Spain will work together to prepare the Roma Week events in Brussels.

These events will foresee participation of young Roma from the three countries that will present findings from the RomaReach project. In fact, a policy report that is inspired by Roma youth will be prepared by each of the three country teams and the results will be offered on the table of European policy-makers and stakeholders in April 2026.

New study on the Roma Community in Bulgaria

The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights has conducted a study on the Roma Community in Bulgaria. The results showed significant improvement in most socio-economic indicators over the past decade, although the figures themselves remain worrying.

RomaREACH project workshop in Bulgaria

Organization Drom put together a workshop for 25 Roma (16-30 year-olds) under the RomaREACH project on 13 November 2025 in Archar, Northwest Bulgaria.The workshop is organized for Roma youth to increase their understanding of national and EU policymaking processes, as well as Roma activism and strengthen their active citizenship skills.
