Quality education for the Roma children from Vidin region

Project  Goals:

  • Provide equal access to quality education for  Roma children and non-Roma children in integrated school environments in the Vidin Region, including the towns of Belogradchik, Bregovo, Dimovo, Kula and Archar Village.
  • Raise awareness among local, national, and international authorities about integrated and quality education for Roma children.

Objectives:

Maintain regular attendance of Roma children in school, including increased education achievement of Roma pupils at school.

Raise motivation of Roma parents to send their children to integrated school environments.

Raise awareness in the society for tolerant attitudes towards Roma.

 

The project is financed by the Trust for Social Achievement 

The Trust for Social Achievement (TSA) is a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to break the poverty cycle by promoting opportunities that help Bulgaria’s most disadvantaged citizens achieve educational and economic success. TSA supports programs that, with integrity, scalability, and transparency, boost the long-term achievement of Bulgaria’s poorest, with a focus on the Roma.
