Equal rights for Roma

The project “Equal Rights for Roma” supported by EEA Grants Program, is willing to:

• increase the human rights information and understanding 
• promote and protect fundamental human rights
• Limit the racism and xenophobia in the Bulgarian society.

The project will provide free legal aid and consultation to Roma  and poor citizens in the Vidin District, whose rights have been infringed.

Project activities are expected to promote and sustain also good understanding about the minority rights and thus to decrease the level of discrimination, based on ethnic background. The project will be beneficiary not only for the Roma community but also contribute to the process of democratization and European integration of the Bulgarian society. 

With the financial supported of the NGO Programme in Bulgaria under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
