3 December 2024
The projet EQUAL TOGETHER is implemented by consortia, led by the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee and five Bulgarian NGOs, including NGO Organization Drom, and the Swedish partner Civil Rights Defenders. The project commenced in January 2023 and will conclude in end December 2024.
During the last phase of implementation Final Conference was organized on 8 October 2024 in the Boyana Residence in Sofia. The conference aimed to stabilize civil organisations, representing vulnerable groups to act together against discrimination, intolerance, segregation, hate speech and crimes because of prejudice. Ambassadors, leading professors, government officials and experts in the field of human rights gathered to have an exchange on the matter.
Organisation Drom took part in the event with a presentation on hate speech by Mr. Rumyan Russinov. Ms. Tanya Kaltzeva, key expert with NGO Organization Drom on the project, took part as well in the conference and provided important feedback during the discussion.
