The two young Bulgarian participants (Ivan and Teodor) who will represent NGO Organization Drom, will be joined for their trip to Brussels between April 20-24 by Ms. Tanya Kaltzeva - long-term collaborator. Our group of participants will come together with the Hungarian and Spanish teams for the 2026 Roma Week. In fact, the group of participants, who represent the Roma Reach project, will participate in events in Brussels, which include the following topics:
(i) European Parliament - understanding the legislative role of the European Institution
(ii) Roma Week session - Cultural Advocacy and Media
(iii) Policy Responses to Anti-gypsysm
(iv) Roma Week Plenary: Human Rights & Digital Safety
(v) Roma Week Session: Gender Equality in Policy
(vi) Roma Youth Empowerment and Awareness for Change
Our participants will be able to present key policy recommendations that we have devised with a policy report that was inspired by the Roma youth generation in Bulgaria.
