High School Scholarship Program 2013/2014

The project aims to assist highschool students who wish to continue their education but face financial difficulties.

The basic requirements for applicants are:

  • the family to have low income;
  • to have motivation to continue their education;
  • to have good grades in school

The project started in  2011/2012 school year, and continues successfully. The students receive free set of textbooks and travel cards.

 

 

Equal rights for Roma

The project “Equal Rights for Roma” supported by EEA Grants Program, is willing to:

  • increase the human rights information and understanding 
  • promote and protect fundamental human rights
  • Limit the racism and xenophobia in the Bulgarian society.

The project will provide free legal aid and consultation to Roma  and poor citizens in the Vidin District, whose rights have been infringed.

Quality education for the Roma children from Vidin region

Project  Goals:

  • Provide equal access to quality education for  Roma children and non-Roma children in integrated school environments in the Vidin Region, including the towns of Belogradchik, Bregovo, Dimovo, Kula and Archar Village.
  • Raise awareness among local, national, and international authorities about integrated and quality education for Roma children.
